I need advice!!! Go to the cape or stupid boring company outing?

My best aunty in the world wants to take me to the cape for a few days on the 15th. I just realized that my dads company outing in springfield is that day too and he really wants me to go to that... he's been talking about it for weeks. I just told him that my aunt wanted to take me to the cape and he was all like '; you knew about the company outing first hun... what do you think you should do?'; and he just gave me that LOOK, and walked away all upset like i wanted to ditch him or something. I honestly think ill have more fun at the cape than hanging around with all his annoying work friends for 2 hours then going home. HELP? I just dont want to hurt his feelingsI need advice!!! Go with your dad. It won't be that bad and go with your aunt another time that way you can do both. I really think you'll feel good about going for your dad once it's over and you won't have any guilt. You would probably feel a little guilty on your trip to the cape if you didn't go then when you do go to the cape you can just have fun with no hard feelings.
Time to grow up.





You committed yourself to this function first. Yes, of course you'd have more fun at the cape......you'd have more fun at a funeral than a dumbass company picnic....BUT....you agreed to go.

Wear something hot to the Company party, and find yourself a rich executive to marry. Then you can live on the cape.
Company outings are crap. Your Dad should want you to be happy, and therefore should be glad that you have something to do that will make you happy, even though it involves doing it with someone else. Actually, your Dad should also be made to understand that the company outing is crap, and should go to the Cape with you and your Aunt. That way everyone will be happy. It's not like they're paying him to go to the crap company outing. And if they are, then it just further proves it's crap if the only way they can get people to come is to pay them. And they aren't paying YOU in any case. So go to the Cape and let your Dad sulk away in the rotten egg potato salad at the crap company outing, if that is really what he wants to do. If he's a middle-aged man then he's used to it by now anyway. Doesn't mean that he should be dragging you down into the crap muck company outing world with him though.
