I have property in NE Pa with gas lease rights - and I heard they are finally going to start drilling - they will offer you $X per acre for thr lease rights themselves - in NE Pa - it's up to almost $2000 per acre now - it was $25 an acre a year ago. THEN, when they finally start drilling and hit gas, (doesn't even have to be on your land - just one the same block of acres they buy the lease rights to), you will start getting monthly royalty checks - I'm hoping of r just a couple of hundred a month to pay the land loan and taxes - with 200 acres - you could see some serious income in the futureA gas company wants to lease our 200 acres for natural gas exploration in nys. any advice?
