What is the cash flow? What problems can occur if company generates huge amounts of cash flow ? Any advice?

Cash flow usually pays for continuing operations but does not retire debt. If there is a huge amount of cash at hand, the debt should be retired. The excess (after paying debts)is ';income';. Lot's of companies are striving to become ';cash-flow-positive'; so that they can maintain their identies, pay salaries, and serve their customers without having to borrow more money or issue more stock. But that is a long way from being profitable, having income, or making money. If there is a lot of cash and the schedule of debt payments is under control, have the finance manager use multiple short-term, liquid investments...money markets. The problems will come up only if you are not paying your debts or taxes. Keep in mind that just because there IS a lot of cash does not mean that you MADE a lot of cash. Good luck. What is the cash flow? What problems can occur if company generates huge amounts of cash flow ? Any advice?
Companies which generate large amounts of cash are good takeover targets. Someone who has a better plan of how to invest that $$$ is a better owner in a free-market economy. tis is good, if you are the seller. What is the cash flow? Cash flow is simply revenues ($$$) generated by your particular business. The only problems that may manifest themselves due to large amounts of revenues are high taxes. Strive for a surplus is cash flow if possible. And send me some if you want.
