Please advice on investment options when a company hits a road block?

Say for example, company A provides healthcare services, and they recently experience a termination of contract by an health insurance company (call this company Z). Which means, patients who have health insurance with company Z will most likely get referred to competitors of company A.

So my question is...Is it a good idea to invest in the biggest competitor of company A at this time, or distribute the investment to several other competitors of company A?Please advice on investment options when a company hits a road block?
i would distribute to several competitors of company A.

you know regardless the situation that it SOMETIMES can be more of a gamble to invest in ONE competitor rather than many small ones...
