I have just started my own building company any adverticing advice or starting your own company advice would be very very welcomeADVERT ICING ADVICE for my new company please?
Remember to register with the inland revenue......you need a VAT registration and company registration number. Keep all your VAT receipts from fuel and bits and bobs you buy...maybe even for shoes and stuff - I'm sure you can claim back all the relevent VAT that YOU pay on goods....maybe consult with your small business advisor at your bank. Also open a business account at your bank...you get to skip queues !
Certainly trawl local websites and look for pages where you can advertise your company for free......same with places like shop windows and the boards in supermarkets like TESCO....advertise your business there for free.....and definately on your van - but keep it simple and not too cheesey.
The best form of advertising is word of mouth, especially from your customers...remember to leave them a business card or 3 (some for their friends) and don't rip them off - repeat business is secure business.ADVERT ICING ADVICE for my new company please?
