But, let's face it - how do you know if a web host is good or not? They all look pretty much the same and they seem like they know what they are doing, right? Well, I recommend reading reviews so that you may compare and become more familiar with the hosting companies before making a decision.
If you are looking for a web hosting company you need to look for a company with either cPanel or vDeck as their control panels. This is because these control panels provide the easy installation.
When you choose a web host, make sure they have excellent support. If you have a problem with your web site you want help now, not in a day or two.Advice for a GREAT web hosting company with pre-installed WordPress?

:)Advice for a GREAT web hosting company with pre-installed WordPress?
Most web host will have Fantastico where you can have Wordpress installed in one click. If you are having problem choosing a web hosting to use for Wordpress, I suggest you do the following:
1. Go to the webhost review sites such as webhostinggeeks or web-hosting-top.com and list down about 3 common top hosting companies.
2. Next, for each web hosting X, do a “X sucks” search on Google. Read some complaints and see if you may encounter the same problems like them. Some of the complaints may relate to certain groups of users only such as VPS, dedicated server users or resellers. So you may not be affected if you are not from these categories.
3. Eliminate those hostings you feel uncomfortable with, and look for the best bargain hosting for your money.
I suggest you start with Stablehost, Fatcow and Webfaction for hosting Wordpress.
Good luck.
For preinstalled Wordpress I would recommend http://www.myownfreeweb.com where you can get free web hosting, free top level domain, free email, webmail, POP, HTML, PHP, MySQL, Databases, 300MB disk space, 10 Gigabytes bandwidth, Safe Mode off, AJAX, Free web builder, free sign up, and 29 preinstalled scripts to make your hosting even easier. Best part is that it's all FREE, and in this economy no one can beat FREE!!!!!
If you’re going to start your blog at your own domain with different pages, you need a web host providing wordpress.
Take a look at: http://www.threehosts.com/blog
There you can reach the three reputable companies that are leaders in the blog website hosting industry.
Hope this helps.
I'm using Hostgator and they are just fantastic..
and Wordpress installation is very simple..
Just log into your cpanel and go to Fantastico deluxe
and select Wordpress..and you are just 2 clicks away for your installation to get installed automatically..
Good luck!
I personally LOVE HostGator! And yes they have wordpress, but I would recommend going through a site like http://hostgumbo.com just to pick up the freebies and giveaways they offer... but pick hostgator when you do. You wont regret it. They are an experienced company and I've never had any downtime with my sites.
