Need some advice. Ok, I have a interview with a local Insurance company.?

Ok, I have a interview with a local Insurance company. I don't have any sales experience, but I feel like I could expand in this postion. What are some good question I can ask? Or How can I make myself stand out in front of others, sense I have no experience.?Need some advice. Ok, I have a interview with a local Insurance company.?
Good questions to ask:

1. Commission rates?

2. Renewal rates?

some companies offer renewals when the policy renews at year 2... you really want this.

3. Incentive Programs?

a company that offers rewards/ contests for those who work hard is awesome it also helps get you motivated for really awesome prizes.

4. Is there a base pay?

some folks like insurance co. with base pays and commission rates that way they know they are going to have some kind of income.

5. Training and support...

If thisis your first time doing this you are ABSOLUTELY NOT going to succeed if you don't have a great internal support system that will help pull you through the tough times and teach you the skills it takes to market your product.

6. Advancement opportunities?

In most companies if you are great enough you can become a person who supervises newbies and trains them while simultaneously earning a % of the premium they write. This is really awesome to have becasue once you get established you can take a trip for an extended period of time the agents under you are still writing business and you are makeing $$$ from it while doing nothing.

7. Retirement rates... will they allow you to keep renewals that accrue once you have left the company. Example: You get 20% renewal commission if you leave after 2 years, 50% commission if you leave after 5 years, and 100% commission on renewals if you retire after 10 years. This is an important feature, if you do really really well you can build a monthly renewal paycheck that can give you awesome paychecks well after you have left the business (even if you are still young and just decided you want to work some where else, as long as you have your insurance license current you can collect your renewals per company policy)

As for the interview,

you really don't need to stand out, they usually take anyone that seems excited to try it. You just need to know all about the company you decide to join.Need some advice. Ok, I have a interview with a local Insurance company.?
If your heart is beating when you arrive for the interview, as long as you look nice, you will get the job. These companies hire most everyone regardless, as some of them follow the pyramid approach, which you may discover eventually.

You don't need to answer questions, as they will tell you everything as if you already have the job, because............ you do have the job.

If you tell them you are an extravert, have lots of family, friends, and neighbors, and belong to 5 different voluntary organizatiuons, man, will you be a hero.

You'll see what I am talking about when you get there, and the 1st thing they discuss will be how you will be making millions in a year or 2.

And by the way, it helps to be a liar, one who is able to contradict, and a deceptive individual.
They'll take you on, on a straight commission basis. The basic requirement is that you are bright enough to pass the licensing test, and can breathe. Honest.

You basically want to make sure you have good support staff, with experienced CSR's so once you sell the policy, you don't have to worry about maintaining it. You ALSO want to see what they do for lead generation.
